MALE INFERTILITY – CAUSES AND TREATMENT

New life is generated when an egg from a woman is fertilized by the sperm of a man. While ejaculation, around 20ml sperms need to be present, with enough strength and power to swim to the fallopian tube where the conception takes place.

The chances of conception for a couple having sexual intercourse are one out of 6 every month. Male infertility acts like a barrier in family planning not only that but it also lowers the chances of his female partner to get pregnant. It is usually caused because of the deficiencies in semen.

The Sperm are made in the testicles, at that point they go through two to ten days going through a progression of little cylinders called the epididymis where they develop and exit into a bigger cylinder called the vas deferens.

The vas deferens exhausts the sperm into the ejaculatory pipe, where they are blended with original liquid from the fundamental vesicles and the prostate organ. During ejaculation, solid withdrawals power the semen into the urethra and out of the penis.

Blockages or nonattendances tubes (counting the vas deferens) are the reason for around one out of three instances of male barrenness. Blockages or unlucky deficiencies of cylinders might be because of vasectomy or damage.

The male infertility is generally because of the lifestyle issues like, excessive smoking, intake of alcohol, degrading environment, high pollution, stress and anxiety, changes in food habits, deskbound work, malnutrition, etc.

SOME OF THE MAJOR CAUSES OF INFERTLITY ARE:

  • Obstacle in the passage of the sperm
  • Complication with the sperm ( such as low semen count)
