How Ayurveda Treat Diseases ?
Ayurveda an ancient system of medicine has been into practice for thousand years. It is a part of a veda called Atharva veda. Ayurveda is a holistic science which believe in preserving the health of a healthy person and then treating the ailment. Its primary motive is to maintain the health of a healthy person and later one is secondary.
This body is said to be comprised of panchamahabhoota (aakash, vayu, agni, jal, prithvi), four indriyan (sense organs), mind and soul. Hence all these together is called “ayu” and study of this is called Ayurveda.
According to Ayurveda our body functions smoothly when all the three doshas are balanced. Vata is responsible for movement Pitta for metabolism and digestion Kapha for growth Treatment of Ayurveda revolves around these three doshas.
Imbalance of doshas results in certain diseases. Doshas may aggravate due to improper dietary intake, excessive exercise, not sleeping at night , stress etc. Proper life style pattern, yoga, meditation and diet are key to a healthy body which is now borrowed by the western world also.
