IUI means Intra Uterine Insemination. A procedure in which a fine catheter (tube) is inserted through the cervix (the natural opening of the uterus) into the uterus (the womb) to deposit a sperm sample directly into the uterus. IVF means In Vitro Fertilization i. e. the process of fertilization takes place artificially, outside the uterus. Then the formed embryo is transferred in patient’s uterus.
